Orality Training
Vineyard Media & Training Services equip the church by training non-readers. Despite ongoing literacy efforts in rural villages, illiteracy doesn’t seem to be on the decline. It has become critical to train non-readers to Pastor their own people using oral forms. Many churches are confronted with the challenge of schooling non-readers in the rural areas. The current Bible school system requires one to be able to read before they can be enrolled; hence not suitable to non-readers who wish to be Pastors.
Oral communicators are people from all over the globe, from all walks of life and all levels of education who communicate primarily or exclusively through oral, not textual means. Their lives are therefore more likely to be transformed through stories, songs, drama, proverbs and media.
